An Alabama native, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Alabama and a Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of New Orleans. With over 13 years as the director of a leisure learning program for older adults in New Orleans and 15 years teaching English in France, Mary Catherine has also provided mental health counseling to American students abroad. Her diverse background and deep understanding of both American and French cultures make her an invaluable resource for anyone experiencing culture shock.
